The Design section allows you to set the main design elements of your website such as main template, color, and main graphic.

NOTE: The following documentation was created using Website Creator Pro. If your account currently has Website Creator Lite installed and you would like to upgrade to the Pro version and receive unlimited pages, 200+ templates, photo albums, community forums, polls/voting, map generator, and newsticker, you will need to upgrade to Website Creator Pro by contacting us.

Design

For this documentation, we will create a new generic Web Hosting website. We have already chosen the Categories, and will now choose the main design elements for our new website.

There are 3 main design elements you will need to choose from the Design section of Website Creator:

• Design: This is where you will be able to choose from over 200 different design templates. Because we have already chosen the Categories, these design templates are sorted to help us find the best one for our website.
• Color: Once you have chosen the design that you want to use, you can change the color scheme of the various design elements found in the design template.
• Main graphic: Once you have chosen the main design and color, you can change the main graphic for that design.

NOTE: Some designs do not require all of the Design elements (Design, Color, and Main Graphic) to be defined. The Design options will be replaced by a text message to let you know that the specific design you have chosen does not require that specific Design element to be defined.

Design

The first main design element we need to choose is the Design. Click on the > Design button from the left side nav (see Figure 1).

You can scroll through the many different designs, 10 at a time. To see the next ten designs, use the drop down menu below the design thumbnails. Once you decide on a Design template, click the thumbnail to load it into the Website Creator main window.

Color

The second main design element we need to choose is the Color. Click on the > Color button from the left side nav (see Figure 2).

You can scroll through the many different colors to choose from. Once you decide on the Color, click the thumbnail to load it into the Website Creator main window.

Main Graphic

The third main design element we need to choose is the Main graphic. Click on the > Main graphic button from the left side nav (see Figure 3).

You can scroll through the many different Main graphics, 10 at a time. To see the next ten Main graphics, use the drop down menu below the Main graphic thumbnails. Once you decide on a Main graphic, click the thumbnail to load it into the Website Creator main window.

We now have the main design elements chosen for our new website. We are ready to fine tune the design elements in the Design Details section.
